General:

Biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas always contain water vapor in an unsaturated state. During combustion, the water vapor results in considerable corrosion damages to the gas engines. Malfunctions caused by these damages lead to significant downtimes and high repair costs. Removing the moisture from your biogas, using a JOG biogas dehumidifier/ JOG Moisture Removal System , will protect your CHP engine and other equipment from corrosion and minimize long term maintenance costs.

Our JOG dehumidifier/Moisture Removal System consists of a gas to cold water heat exchanger integrated with an industrial grade water chiller. The condensation of the water vapor in the gas is caused by temperature reduction which in turn results in a dehumidification. The condensate is separated out in a trap installed after the chiller and removed via auto drain system.

The use of a JOG gas dehumidification/ Moisture removal system can considerably extend the engine’s service life and notably reduce the maintenance costs.

Removing the moisture from your biogas, using a biogas dehumidifier, will protect your CHP engine and other equipment from corrosion and minimize long term maintenance costs. Oil, which is an essential lubricant in the CHP engine, is less likely to become contaminated and require changing. Details:

  • Double Membrane Biogas Balloon/ holders are used for biogas storage. It’s mounted tightly on the roof of the Digester and separated sphere on surface of Land. The Biogas holder system has a double membrane structure.
  • The external cover dome is made of PVC and produced with special additives that are ultraviolet and precipitation resistant. Internal membrane, which is in direct contact with biogas, is made of a special material. The internal membrane is stretched by the pressure of the produced biogas. Air is pumped between the cover dome and internal membrane so that it provides pressure to the upper side of the membrane and gives a spherical shape to the cover dome.
  • Biogas Double Membranes are designed and cut using machines with numerical program control. Welding is performed using high-frequency current welding. This gives considerable advantages in quality if to be compared with membranes that are handmade and glued or welded by heating elements. The hermetic sealing in gas holder mounting systems are secured by pilot-operated check valves. For gas holder safe operation an excessive pressure valve is installed. Inspection holes and branch pipes are included into the scope of the gas holder supply.
  • Biogas pressure inside the gas holder on average is from 200 to 500 Pa. The gas holder provides enough for 2-3 hours storage of biogas.

Membrane Mounted on Surface of land type is separated sphere. It can store and output biogas independently, and can be erected on the ground.

  • It can store large amount of biogas.
  • There is no need to climb high when use, observe and repair.
  • This system is separated with fermentation cylinder, when one of this is under repair, the other will not be affected.

General:

Biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas always contain water vapor in an unsaturated state. During combustion, the water vapor results in considerable corrosion damages to the gas engines. Malfunctions caused by these damages lead to significant downtimes and high repair costs. Removing the moisture from your biogas, using a JOG biogas dehumidifier/ JOG Moisture Removal System , will protect your CHP engine and other equipment from corrosion and minimize long term maintenance costs.

Our JOG dehumidifier/Moisture Removal System consists of a gas to cold water heat exchanger integrated with an industrial grade water chiller. The condensation of the water vapor in the gas is caused by temperature reduction which in turn results in a dehumidification. The condensate is separated out in a trap installed after the chiller and removed via auto drain system.

The use of a JOG gas dehumidification/ Moisture removal system can considerably extend the engine’s service life and notably reduce the maintenance costs.

Benefits:

Removing the moisture from your biogas, using a biogas dehumidifier, will protect your CHP engine and other equipment from corrosion and minimize long term maintenance costs. Oil, which is an essential lubricant in the CHP engine, is less likely to become contaminated and require changing. Why Bio-CNG or CBG (Compressed Biogas)?

  1. Bio-CNG contains about 95% to 98% of methane (CH4) and only 2-4 % carbon dioxide.
  2. The calorific value of Bio-CNG/ CBG is about 52,000 kilojoules (kJ) per kg, which is 167 % higher than that of biogas.
  3. The high methane content and calorific value combined with the low quantity of moisture, hydrogen supplied and impurities makes Bio-CNG an ideal fuel for automobiles and power generation.
  4. The low emission levels of Bio-CNG also make it a more environment-friendly fuel than biogas.
